Angostura Development
Funding of up to US$ 327 million was committed for the Phase I Development of the Greater Angostura oil and gas field, Trinidad and Tobago, March 2003. The Development commenced crude oil exports in 2005.
BHP Billiton is the operator of the Angostura development.

Exploration Acreage
Our exploration program in Trinidad and Tobago is part of our overall strategy to pursue and capture hydrocarbon-bearing assets that can provide high-margin returns. Trinidad and Tobago has already delivered exploration success, and we have a program in place to build on this.
